My Thoughts Exactly

Post season blows without The Pack in it, but does it have too. Just like the regular season, you have to find the games worth your time. That's not easy, as we all know, no other team is really the second effort, but this week, I'm putting all of my chips in.

Last week was a bit of a bust. Who really cares about the Giants and Eagles. Like they really are going anywhere this post season. Most games were very predictable, but the Seahawk game had a great ending. So let's take a quick glance at what really matters in life; this weeks games.

Colts at Ravens

Will Manning choke? I hope so. This game could be tons of fun just to watch the Raven defense swarm Manning and send Dungy home with yet another empty season. The fun factor is way up on this one.

Eagles at Saints

Boring. Again, who cares about the Eagles....and the Saints? I've never even seen a Saints fan before in my life. Remember when we exploded on them at Lambeau last year. That was great. This game won't be. I hope they both lose.

Seahawks at Bears

Now we're talking. The Packers West go to....what's the field called now, Solider Field at Windy City...doesn't matter. This game is the game of the week for me, but sadly, the Bears will probably win this one. But we can always hope for the best, right? You Still Suck Bears. I hate you. I hate you.

Patriots at Chargers

Okay, again, an interesting game. I'm looking for the Pats to fall flat, and I'm ready to welcome who hope wins it all, the most non-threating to my Pack...the Chargers. Plus, there are too many Patriots fans nowadays. Time to thin out the herd.

As a special playoff bonus, here is the famous Jim Mora commenting on playoffs. This never gets old. Playoffs. PLAYOFFS!

Even though the Packers and Vikings are home watching (just like us) the Playoffs have been pretty entertaining to this point--and the best is yet to come....

AS THE PACKERS MOVE INTO THE OFFSEASON
GOSSIP AND RUMORS ARE STARTING TO ABOUND
QUESTIONS OF WHICH PLAYERS WILL RETURN
AND WHETHER BRETT FAVRE WILL BE AROUND

THE GIANTS ARE REPORTEDLY GEARING UP
TO MAKE A RUN AT FREE-AGENT AHMAN GREEN
WHETHER THEY WOULD BE SUCCESSFUL SIGNING HIM
IS JUST ONE OF THE THINGS REMAINING TO BE SEEN

BESIDES SORTING OUT THEIR OWN FREE AGENTS
THE PACKERS HAVE TO KEEP THEIR SHOPPING LIST IN HAND
FOR A COUPLE OF THOSE HIGH-LEVEL MERCENARIES
COULD PUT THESE PACKERS INTO POSTSEASON LAND
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
THE VIKINGS TEAM ALSO CARRIES QUESTIONS
INTO AN OFFSEASON FILLED WITH MANY DOUBTS
SOME ARE QUESTIONING CHILDRESS' "KICK-ASS OFFENSE"
WHILE THE DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR SHOPS HIMSELF ABOUT
THEY LACK AN ESTABLISHED STARTING QUARTERBACK
AS WELL AS RECEIVERS THAT CAN CHANGE A GAME
FOR THOSE WHO LOVED THIS YEAR'S "GRIND-IT-OUT" OFFENSE
NEXT SEASON SHOULD PROMISE PLENTY OF THE SAME
WHILE THE VIKINGS' RUN DEFENSE IS EXCELLENT
THE PASSING DEFENSE USUALLY LOOKED PRETTY POOR
THEY'LL ALSO BE SHOPPING THE “FREE-AGENT MART”
FOR A PLAYER THAT CAN HELP TO SHUT THAT DOOR
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

SOME TEAMS DON'T HAVE THESE SORTS OF PROBLEMS
NAMELY THE TEAMS WE'LL BE WATCHING THIS WEEKEND
AS THEY STRIVE TO MOVE ON THROUGH THE BRACKETS
AND NOT LET THEIR SEASON COME TO AN ABRUPT END

FOR ONCE THE COLTS MANAGED TO STOP THE RUN
AS THEY SENT LARRY JOHNSON AND THE CHIEFS PACKING
BUT THE RAVENS ARE READY TO TURN THE TABLES ON THEM
AND IT WILL BE BALTIMORE'S DEFENSE DOING THE SACKING

A YEAR AGO THE NEW ORLEANS DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A HOME
AND THIS YEAR THEY'RE EVERYBODY'S 'FEEL-GOOD' TEAM
THOSE GOOD FEELINGS SHOULD CONTINUE SATURDAY NIGHT
AFTER THEY'VE CRUSHED GARCIA AND THE EAGLES' DREAM

THE 'BOLTS ARE LOOKING GOOD ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL
WITH MERRIMAN ON DEFENSE WHILE THE OFFENSE HAS 'LT'
NO MATTER WHAT BRADY AND PATS COME UP WITH
IT'S NOT GOING TO BE ENOUGH TO PRODUCE A VICTORY

THE BEARS MIGHT BE RATED AS THE NUMBER ONE SEED
ALTHOUGH LATELY THEY'VE NOT LOOKED LIKE IT
BUT SEATTLE DOESN'T PLAY WELL ON THE ROAD
AND A HESTER RETURN TOUCHDOWN WILL MAKE THEM QUIT

The Indianapolis Colts beat the Kansas City Chiefs 23-8
The Seattle Seahawks beat the Dallas Cowboys 21-20
The New England Patriots beat the New York Jets 37-16
The Philadelphia Eagles beat the New York Giants 23-20
