MF Pack is confused

I had game notes all written up through the first half of yesterday's game. I looked them over and realized I had witnessed one of the worst halves of football that I had ever seen. So I burned the notepad and pen and said a prayer to St. Vincent to help me forget these horrible, horrible things. Unfortatunely some things you just can't unsee.

Wide open Jets receivers sitting comfortably in the holes in our zones.

Huge lanes for a no-name running back to glide through.

Chad Pennington looking like an above average NFL quarterback.

Pennington having enough time on a few play fakes to go to the Packra's kiosk and order up a couple of her new flavor sensation, Favre's Weiners, then come back and hit the awesomely named Jerricho Cotchery for 15 yards and a first down.

It will be an injustice to all mankind if Jerricho Cotchery doesn't go on in his later years to become a preacher. He'd be like a religious lawman touring the west and saving lives. He will look like Morgan Freeman.

I'd like to congratulate Driver, Morency, Green and Hawk for not quitting yesterday.

I'm not gonna say anything about the rest of the players.

I realize the AFC is better than the NFC this year but the Jets aren't even a playoff team.

I'm pissed off because that's the 5th loss at Lambeau this year. Every game there should be like a magic show for a 6 year old kid. Full of wonder and good times. Mike III and TT need to fix it. The fans deserve wins at Lambeau, lose on the road all you want but not there.

For the fourth time this year (Philly, Chicago, New England and yesterday) the Packers didn't even show up to play. That's the worst part of this season and it's worthy of mass firings, player trades and cuts and everything else.

Memo to the Offense: Have some pride. Score some points. Shut up.

Memo to the Defense: Have some pride. Stop allowing so many points. Shut up.

The cast on Barnett's broken right hand made him look like Trapjaw from the He-Man series. He was the one with the interchangeable arms, one with a claw, one with a hook and one with a club.

I would happily replace both of our safeties with Beastman and Merman. They were incompetent too but at least they'd be memorable.

I'm running out of things to say. I love this team but man, sometimes they make it hard to do it.

At the end of every football season I watch the entire Band of Brothers series from HBO. It helps me get used to not having any football to watch and it's really good so it's worth checking out every year. It's getting harder and harder to wait. I'm waiting for this team to show me something to keep me interested but so far I'm out of luck.

I'll hang in there. Heck, the Vikings lost, benched their QB AND managed to make the Bears look bad while doing it. Nice combo.

Ugh, I had to listen to this shit in the car driving through Wisconsin. I think dear could sense how the game was going and throwing themselves at cars in I-90.

horrible, I can't decide if watching the Pack no show game a home is worse than just listening to it.

I know that I volunteered to rearrange the furniture in the living room for the Christmas tree. That's a pretty good indication of how worthwhile it was to watch it.

I had to shut the audio off after the first half. At no time did Nantz or Simms rip the Packers for their weak effort or lack of ability. I realize they can't just savage someone but c'mon, we can all see that the Jets aren't that amazing, the Packers are just not good enough. So call them on it.
